Family Business
Asa's Auto Repair
My grandfather opened his own automotive garage years ago, after his passing in 2011, my dad and I took over the business. We eventually moved it to my dad's house a couple years after. Hence my interest in Automotive Technology!
1999 - Present
Assistant Instructor
I began practicing the martial art at the age of 2. Yup! So practically right off the bat I was helping my dad teach students where ever the location may be at the time. After receiving my first black belt I actually began teaching class for him at times! After receiving my second dan I held a location of my own for a few years.

Senior year & Graduation!
Maplewood Jr./Sr. High School
Crawford County Career & Technical Center
I participated in as many Tech Ed courses as I could, including Robobots, along with Biology, a form of STEM Physics, and a Natural Disasters course in High School. I was also enrolled in the Automotive Technology course at CCCTC and participated in the Co-Op program. I worked at a local Ford Dealership from 2014 until I went to college. Although I did return during a few summer breaks during college.
2009-2010
RoboBots
Maplewood Jr./Sr. High School
This course was originally an activity for our school's monthly activity period. Funded by Metals in Motion and numerous other organizations and thanks to the help of many kind individuals and volunteers, majority of the local schools had the honor of participating in this amazing annual competition. Giving each team only $500.00 and less than a year, participating students were expected to collaborate, design, test, build prototypes, and build their final 15 pound bot within all inspection and safety regulations provided.

2016-2017
Internship
Drake Well Museum of Oil & Gas
Mobile Energy Education Training Unit
I interned at the museum during the summer after freshman and sophomore year along with during the winter between the two. Not only did I travel with the 80 foot long truck and trailer to schools, fairs, and festivals all over Pa, Ny, Oh, Wv, and so on! But I was also instructed to make many seriously needed physical upgrades to the content and trailer. I ripped out the old rubber vinyl flooring and replaced it with a laminate floor. I designed, printed, and hung eight foot tall banners.
The trailer was designed to educate Energy. Being it was raised in an oil and gas museum, it focuses on the production and manufacturing of oil and natural gas. With that it also educates recycling and why its important to recycle. Followed by Alternative energies and discussion regarding technology.
